By downloading, installing, or using Ousia ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Description of Service
Ousia is a personal life guidance application that provides:
- AI-powered life guidance and insights
- Curated content from various platforms
- Tools for self-reflection and personal growth
The App is designed to complement, not replace, professional advice from qualified healthcare providers, therapists, or financial advisors.
User Accounts
Account Creation:
- You may use the App without an account with limited features
- Creating an account enables data sync and premium features
- You must provide accurate information when registering
Account Security:
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
- We are not liable for losses due to compromised credentials
Subscriptions and Payments
Ousia Premium Monthly:
- Billed monthly at the price displayed at the time of purchase
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Ousia Premium Annual:
- Billed annually at the price displayed at the time of purchase
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Renewal and Cancellation:
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
- No refunds for partial subscription periods
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or modify the App
- Share your account credentials
- Upload malicious content or code
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Use automated systems to access the App
- Circumvent security measures
AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: The AI guidance provided by Ousia is generated by machine learning models and should be considered for informational purposes only.
- AI responses may not always be accurate or appropriate
- Do not rely on AI guidance for medical, legal, or financial decisions
- Seek professional help for serious mental health concerns
- We do not guarantee specific outcomes from using the App
Intellectual Property
Ownership:
- Ousia and its content are owned by us or our licensors
- The App is protected by copyright and trademark laws
- You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App
Your Content:
- You retain ownership of content you create
- You grant us a license to use your content to provide services
- We may use anonymized data to improve our AI models
Third-Party Content
The App may link to content from third-party platforms (YouTube, Spotify, Instagram, etc.).
- We do not control or endorse third-party content
- Third-party platforms have their own terms and privacy policies
- We are not responsible for third-party content or services
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties
- We disclaim all implied warranties
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ousia and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of India.
